Buenaventura is the Pacific discharge. Cartagena only if your agente de aduanas already clears there. On this file the cars are the GAC Toyota Bozhi 3X, the FAW Toyota bZ5 and the GAC Toyota Bozhi 7 sedan. Ley 769 de 2002 does not open an ordinary initial registration for a used vehicle. Decreto 925 de 2013, article 15, treats a new car as saldo when its model year is earlier than the year you file, or when it was built two or more years before that filing. A 2027 VIN can be reserved now.
File a 2027 unit in 2027. Under Decreto 925 de 2013, a prior model year is saldo.
Bozhi 3X is the tall compact SUV. bZ5 is the low fastback. Bozhi 7 is the long sedan.

Three papers: the factory certificate, the environmental list, and one certificate that is both the China compulsory product certificate and the type-conformity certificate. Every car shipped to Colombia also needs a photo of the under-hood refrigerant label.
Bozhi 3X, bZ5 and Bozhi 7 are quoted on their own VINs. The sedan does not borrow the SUV catalog.

After the advance payment the factory issues three papers. The factory certificate of conformity is the vehicle passport: this VIN left the plant. The vehicle environmental information list is the emissions record of that VIN. The third paper is one document. The China compulsory product certificate and the type-conformity certificate are the same file. It states dimensions, mass and powertrain, M1 under GB/T 15089-2016, which is how the Bozhi 7 stays a sedan. Every car shipped to Colombia needs a photo of the refrigerant label in the front compartment, on the underside of the hood. Colombian dealers are the only ones who require it. The label states the refrigerant, the fill mass and the oil. A unit already photographed reads R-134a, 850±15 g, POE, QC/T 659, SAE J639. Shoot that label on the VIN that is leaving. Other markets do not ask for this photo. Invoice, packing list and bill of lading sit with that pack.
Those three papers are the China side. They are not the Colombian acts. Your agente de aduanas files the registro or licencia de importación through VUCE, and the visto bueno. The emissions certificate the importer is asked to obtain is the CEPD, Certificado de Emisiones por Prueba Dinámica, under Resolución 762 de 2022, through ANLA. The VIN on that request has to match the factory list, character for character. Homologación at the Ministerio de Transporte comes before the initial registration in RUNT. We sit with your agent before a container number exists. We do not file with DIAN, and we do not issue the CEPD.
